    Create a video blog…instantly.

I would serve comfort food… like casseroles, soup, and mashed potatoes. Oh yeah, and I think old people like nuts… so a bowl of mixed nuts would be cool too. =)

Do the attendees have teeth? If not, I would stick with applesauce and mashed potatos.

If they have teeth, it depends if it is fancy or not. Go to a sub shop and get some subs to go (they will make a nice platter for you) or if it is fancy, order out - call an Italian restaurant who specializes in large orders (there are a ton of them).
    Good luck and have fun!!!!

Serve normal food, but name it appropriately.
    Like Old **** Baked Beans.
    Apple Turn-Over-the-hills
    Tick-Tock Knockwurst Kraut
    Sloppy (insert Uncle’s name) sandwiches

    Be imaginative!

First of all–serve what your uncle likes best!

That may be sandwich meat, or premade sandwiches from Subways or something similar. You can get a veggie tray and a cheese tray from the supermarket. Perhaps a fruit tray with dipping sauces.

Or you might even do something simple like order pizza.

You might order a cake from a bakery or grocery store decorated nicely.

well its all about the finger food!!! A retirement party is all about a bit of booze and socialising!!! Id ask your uncle what types of food he likes because he is going to be the person of the hour. But pretty much any finger foods are a go. Spring rolls, fish cocktails, Frankfurt’s, mini quiche, garlic bread, Fruits, a variety of cheeses, dips and crackers etc etc. Oh and a big Cake!!!!!
