some just want to settle down with their family or start one. they just may get tired of being on the road all the time after doing it for so long. or they could just have other things that they want to do with their lives

I guess they are just sick of Mr. McMahon or Mr.McMahon is sick of them

Because they have been around forever. And if you look at the list most of them are big guys who are more prone for injury.
- Big Show. He’s been in pain for a looooooooong time and when you stop and think about it he really doesn’t have anything to prove or accomplish. I think there is no problem with Big Show retiring. POSIBLE SPOILER: Look for Big Show to come back for one more match at Wrestlemania. It has been 20 years since Hogan slammed Andre in the Silverdome and they will be back in the Silverdome this year. Y not have him face another big man in Big Show.
- Undertaker. He has been in this business for over 15 years and he has a new daughter which he doesn’t want to miss time raising like he did with his other children. He also has nothing to prove or accomplish.
- Kane. Despite his championship accomplishments (his one day reign as champion) Kane has been one of the hardest working wrestlers the WWE has had and has the respect of everyone in the business. I would like to see him have another long title reign because he deserves it but he actually turned down the oppertunity to have one because he did not want to be given the championship as a “goodbye gift”. Although many may not realize it, he has nothing to prove.
- Hogan. A legend of wrestling and he obviously has nothing to prove. He has announced that he will be retiring after Mania. And as much of a Hogan fan as I am, I gotta say he’s pushing it more than Bret Favre is. I will be happy knowing that Hogan isn’t going to randomly pop up again and again.

Most want to start a family or they just need a break.
After long periods of time, wrestling 4 days a week and being on the road for 200 days a year it gets tiring.
It really ***** though. Some of my favorite superstars have retired.

You can’t expect them to work forever.Being a WWE superstar is hard work and most of them made enough money and want to spend time with their family.
