How do you findout who manages a pension fund?

I do not work for this company, but am doing research for an attorney. How do if I find out who manages a pension fund at a company? HR will not tell me since I am not an employee.This company has also since merged with another. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Sorry if I was unclear. I’m not looking to sue the fund or the manager. I just need to know who manages the plan.
