Reasons: very bad economy, many people today (mistakenly) think they can do their own legal work thanks to the WWWeb, there are WAY TOO MANY law schools in this country (USA) churning out WAY TOO MANY graduates to be supported by this country (USA), if you graduate you won't be able to get a job, if you do get a job you'll find the environment is very political and competitive and those in administration do not have the best interests of their employees in mind. The World is a very different place than when your lawyer friend first started his career. Suggestion: Go into the field of healthcare LOTS of jobs there! Good luck. Reasons: very bad economy, many people today (mistakenly) think they can do their own legal work thanks to the WWWeb, there are WAY TOO MANY law schools in this country (USA) churning out WAY TOO MANY graduates to be supported by this country (USA), if you graduate you won’t be able to get a job, if you do get a job you’ll find the environment is very political and competitive and those in administration do not have the best interests of their employees in mind.

The World is a very different place than when your lawyer friend first started his career.

Suggestion: Go into the field of healthcare LOTS of jobs there!
