He’s got a great sense of humor but I just seem to be having a road block on trying to come up with imaginative ideas. I retired from the military i draw a pension of $3500 per month. I don’t have any bills except utility bills. I’m 52. My significant other wants me to go back to work, she works a fulltime government job and her net income per month is around $3000.

Our house is paid for all of our vehicles are paid for and oldest is 2 years old.

I don’t want to go back to that 9-5 every weekday grind that i put up with for over 30 years. I just want to be retired to do things i haven’t been able to do for years.

Am i being a selfish ******* or is she being overly demanding.

Maybe i should just leave her with everything and start a new life elsewhere.
